Annual Halloween Home Game - Saturday 25/10/25

Get ready for a spooktacular day of roller derby this Halloween. On Saturday 25 October, SXRD hosts our annual Halloween event, a double-header full of action, atmosphere and fun. First up, watch two Rookie/Inter teams battle it out in our Bats vs Ghosts mixer, followed by our A-team bout: Essex Roller Derby taking on Bridgend Roller Derby. Expect hard hits, fast packs and all the thrills of live roller derby.

Between games, browse our merch stands, grab a slice (or two!) from the cake sale, or try your luck in the raffle. Whether you're a long-term fan or brand new to the sport, it's the perfect way to spend a Saturday. Costumes and Halloween puns encouraged!

SXRD Recruitment Evening - Winter 2025

Ever dreamed of becoming a roller derby player? Here is your chance! Essex Roller Derby is opening up recruitment for the Winter 2025 New Skater Programme. Whether you've skated before or never laced up a pair of skates, we'll teach you everything, from the fundamentals of roller skating to the roller derby skills you'll need to be confident on and off the track.
